Premiere Pro or Creative Cloud All Apps?

The Premiere Pro plan is best if you only need Premiere Pro software, while Creative Cloud All Apps is a great value if you also need some or all of the other applications.

For example, if you want Premiere Pro and Photoshop, it’s cheaper to get individual plans, as both cost $22.99 per month (12-month plan), while the Creative Cloud All Apps plan costs $59.99 per month (12-month plan).

However, if you want another application, such as After Effects, paying for three separate plans is more expensive than getting Creative Cloud All Apps.

Premiere Pro for students

Students and educators can receive a discount on the Creative Cloud All Apps plan, but not on the Premiere Pro plan, if they can prove eligibility.

You get all the same things as the regular Creative Cloud All Apps, except you pay $19.99 per month (instead of $59.99) or $239.88 per year (instead of $659.88). Upon renewal after 12 months, the price is increased to $34.99 per month.

To qualify for Adobe’s student and educator discounts on Creative Cloud, individuals must prove their status. Students (13 years of age or older) must generally provide proof of current enrollment at an accredited institution, while educators must provide proof of employment at a qualifying school. This usually involves providing a school email address, student ID, or official documentation.

Premiere Pro for teams

Premiere Pro for teams costs $37.99 per month per license or $455.88 per year per license. Alternatively, you can get the Creative Cloud All Apps plan for teams for $89.99 per month per license or $1,079.88 per year per license.

Teams get a few exclusive features, such as an admin console, increased cloud storage of 1TB, the ability to reclaim assets from ex-team members, and 180-day version history.

Teams also get a long, 14-day free trial, compared to the 7-day free trial for individuals.

Can you buy Premiere Pro outright?

Premiere Pro is no longer available for purchase outright. It’s only available through a Creative Cloud subscription. You can subscribe to the Premiere Pro plan or choose the Creative Cloud All Apps plan for multiple applications.
